We first met Angela in the Fall of 2019 upon the recommendation of an excellent real estate agent we had worked with in Denver. We were not disappointed. We were hoping to find a place that would accommodate our family (3 grown children and 3 young grandchildren), as well as offer potential for some rental income. Prior to our visit, she asked us a series of questions about what we were interested in. We looked at five properties initially, all lovely, and very different. Although we didn’t settle on a place during that trip, Angela kept in constant contact with us, and sent properties that had just come onto the market and/or had upcoming open houses. In late December she found the PERFECT place for us – a beautiful townhome in a well-kept complex, nestled in a beautiful forested area that was still within very close proximity to the ski area. Through her very diligent persistence, we were able to close the deal. While under contract, Angela and her affiliated staff were very helpful and always available for questions related to finding a local mortgage company and walking us through the closing process. As Angela had so accurately noted “purchasing a mountain vacation property was a little different from buying a home in Denver”. She set up interviews with prospective property managers, and was always available for questions related to the HOA, potential rental income, home inspection and contractor services, consignment store locations, and just finding our way around the town and ski area. Her input was invaluable as we were somewhat new to what the community had to offer. Even after closing she made herself available for questions related to moving in and making our new property rent-friendly. In short, she was kind, patient, insightful, knowledgeable and indispensable throughout the search and purchase of our beautiful Steamboat property.

Angela took away my anxiety from selling my home. I have had bad experiences with realtors who value their speed to their income over owner support/satisfaction through this major life event. Angela was introduced to me through a colleague in her NextHome business group who I used to buy my new home in another state.
Angela showed up at my Steamboat home with a paper writing pad and an electric writing pad. She did not drop a huge pile of marketing material on my table and proceed to sell herself. She walked my home with me discussing how to go about my sale and ascertaining what my objectives were. We each generated a sale price based on market data - hers better than mine. We came up with the same number to meet my objective of a swift sale and not a gouging exercise. My house sold in 7 days. We closed in short order (2 weeks I recall) for cash buyer. Angela organized a great plumber to fix two issues to meet closing - same day service which is normally impossible in Steamboat Springs (think 2 months).
Could I have asked for a higher sale price - yes, would I have gotten it - probably no. Would my house have been on the market a lot longer than I desired - yes. Right price - fast sale, Angela got the job done.
Bottom line - I would use Angela for buying or selling a home in Steamboat Springs if you want a realtor on your side devoted to making a deal you want with minimum stress.
